A new pilot project has been initiated today by Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal. The Solar Panel Scheme has been in the works for the last two years. Solar panels are being installed free of cost on the rooftops in slum areas for the needy in Bathinda to help reduce electricity bills, which is a problem for many. 5532 solar panels of 1Kw are being installed in the first phase, but our aim is to expand this across Bathinda and Punjab.
