Moga Police registered a criminal case against a person for spreading fake news of Sacrilege through a post on his Facebook page. While giving this information, Mohammad Sarafraz Alam, ASP Nihal Singh Wala said that an incident about a Facebook post was reported. The exact post on Facebook Page “LOPON” is as follows: ਬਹਤ ਹੀ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਫਿਰ ਹੋਈ ਪਿੰਡ ਮੱਲਕੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੋਗਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਬੀਤੀ ਰਾਤ ਪਾਪੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਵਨ ਅੰਗ ਪਾੜ ਕੇ ਗਲ਼ੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ The Police team verified all the Gurudwaras in village Malke and nearby localities (Dist Moga) and no such incidents took place anywhere in the village Malke as mentioned in the Facebook post. On further verification, the Facebook Page and the Account through which this page is being operated has been identified as belonging to Gurdeep Singh s/o Jagjit Singh r/o Patti Lota, Village Lopon, PS Badhni Kalan, Dist Moga. FIR No 163 Dated 30.12.2021 u/s 295A,153,153A, 505 IPC has been registered at PS Badhni Kalan. The Accused Gurdeep Singh has been arrested and further investigation is being carried out. Mr Alam said that strict action would be taken against those persons who are trying to create hatred and disrupt peace in society.

ਮੋਗਾ, 30 ਦਸੰਬਰ: ਮੋਗਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ ਪੇਜ ਤੇ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਝੂਠੀਆਂ ਅਫਵਾਹਾਂ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸੁਪਰਡੈਂਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਸਰਫ਼ਰਾਜ਼ ਆਲਮ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ
ਮਿਤੀ 30 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ ਪੇਜ ‘ਲੋਪੋਂ’ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਮੱਲਕੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੋਗਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਝੂਠੀ ਪੋਸਟ ਪਾਈ ਸੀ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋ ਪਿੰਡ ਮੱਲਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਵਿਚ ਦਰਸਾਏ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਮੱਲਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਾਪਰੀ।
ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ ਪੇਜ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਉਟ ਜਿਸ ਰਾਂਹੀ ਇਹ ਪੇਜ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਗੁਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਸੀ ਲੋਪੋ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੋਗਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ।ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਾ ਨੰਬਰ 163 ਮਿਤੀ 30-12-21 ਅਧ 295ਏ,153,153.ਏ,505 ਭ:ਦ: ਥਾਣਾ ਬੱਧਨ੍ਹੀ ਕਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਰਜਿਸਟਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਤਫਤੀਸ ਅਮਲ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਗੁਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਸਰਫ਼ਰਾਜ਼ ਆਲਮ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਨਫਰਤ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਭੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
